 | U. S. Marine Corps and U. S. Navy Insignia !
Many are unaware that the officer's insignia devices employed by the Navy and Marine Corps were of a slightly different design than that of their counterparts in the Army and Air Force, and in particular the officer's collar devices used were noticably of a different type...and when you need historical accuracy, these slight variations are the difference in detail that set one display apart from another !  | USAAF Officer's "chocolate" Class A Uniform Tunics !

Our secret is that we only use the finest original surplus, so the uniform that you order is really the same as what you would recieve if you had been mustered into the Army Air Corps in 1942...or practically any other unit of service, or branch which you prefer ! | Painted A - 2 Flight Jackets ! Perhaps the most popular bringback item of all time, were the A-2 Flight Jackets given out to the aircrews of the USAAF. The fliers would add unit distintive painted leather squadron patches, and would even add their own custom insignia depicting the name of their aircraft...which they would paint on themselves, and no two were ever alike ! In the collecting arena, people have long been aware of the
beauty and desirability of these cherished mementos of air service. Accordingly, prices and availability have moved in opposite of each other, as the cost of obtaining an original jacket skyrockets past the Occassionally we do locate originals, but luckily we do have excellent access to not only the jackets...but also a few artists who do beautiful
reproductions of some of these classic and distintive unit insignias ! |
 | Vet Bringbacks and War Mementos ! For almost two thousand years, the soldiers of a victorious nation have been bringing back souvenirs of their military conquests against opposing armies. Often, the Romans not only brought home the spears of their enemies, but their head as well...impaled upon the liberated spears as further proof of their conquest ! In the middle ages, if an armies' flag were to be captured in battle, its soldiers would often give up the fight...believing that either their king had surrendered, or been killed defending it. When General Robert E. Lee surrendered at Appomattox Court House, he handed his sword to General Grant as a symbol of the defeat of the Confederacy. Throughout the ages it has always been common for the victor to both liberate and then collect artifacts of those whom they had conquered. Although we don't offer any items of such an extreme nature as spears or heads and do not plan to carry any in the future, we do carry practically every other concievable type of veteran's memorabilia ! Samurai swords, deactivated weaponry, enemy personal effects, picture albums, etc...sooner or later if it becomes available, we take a look at what we can do with it to make your collecting displays as unique and creative as possible !
